Again, we apologize for the inconveniences that you encountered and we truly hope that you will consider staying with us again in the future to show you that we are better than what you experienced. If you had reached out at the time, we would have been more than happy to accomodate your requests. Please know that we do offer coffee makers free of charge for the rooms by request. Please know that we do have a 24-hour Engineering Team who would be more than happy to look into the issues that you encounter throughout the night. I can assure you that we do our absolute best to place each guest in a nice room and it was not intentional that you were allocated the room that you encountered. We would like to apologize for the inconveniences that you encountered during your stay. We are thrilled to hear that you enjoyed the location and hope you were able to take on Times Square like a local. We appreciate all guest feedback, both positive and negative, for a chance to make improvements for the future. I know it's NYC and everything is priced up, but it's hard to justify spending money here when you can't sleep and don't have basic accommodations that other hotels offer for $100 a night in other locations (coffee, basic breakfast or snacks, updated, wifi thar works, and no banging heating units). Positive was no issues at all adjusting bill when I checked out. They gave us a $20 food credit when we booked direct and it's not showing correctly (or at all). I was going to do online checkout, but couldn't even do that because Bill was incorrect. Doors are constantly slamming around our room at all hours as well (I'm sure there is something cheap to help soften that for guests comfort). You pay a $29 facility fee that includes your internet (but it rarely works - at least in our room). Honestly, the price doesn't match the service received. The bathtub is chipping away (not that I care, but I expect more for the price and for this hotel). The bathroom sink is the only thing updated and it's lacking any room to put belongings on. The past night it was consistent from 1am-4am. I'm talking about loud banging and waking you up if you were asleep. I'm not talking about a little cling/clang. The heating unit banged all night the second night! I've literally had 3 hours of sleep the last night there and about 4.5 the night before. Upon reservation I informed them it would be our daughter's first trip and asked for a decent room (as they take special requests). Other than that, I'd rather stay at an, average Hilton, Fairfield, etc. Another positive is you can have your luggage held for $1 a bag (before or after checkout). I'll start out by saying the location is perfect! Great walking distance and perfect for theatre district. Thank you to all the staff as you made this weekend so special !!! i live in Manhattan and am going to send all of my out of town guests to The Hotel Edison because it is beautiful, clean and safe and they treat everyone like family. MY parents are planning on returning for the 75th. Special thanks to Scott and Rommel for making this a perfect weekend. The Edison had a team meeting before my parents arrival to let the staff know about the special occassion, so everyone greeted them by name and congratulated them on their anniversary. My parents raved about the staff and the service that they received. Security is tight, you can not get up to the rooms withought a key car, which you also need for the elevator. They upgraded my mom and dad to a suite which was lovely adn due to their age they had a walk in shower, which was very thoughful. The hotel is very old time elegant and the rooms are nice and clean and Covid safe. The customer service can not be beat and the staff can not do enough for their guests. They were treated like roylaty by the entire staff and i can not say enought wonderful things about the hotel and the staff. My parents stayed at the Hotel Edison in 1951 on their honeymoon and came back to celebrate their 70th anniversary.
